These socks have that extra special technical soft top and no "compression effect" only a maximum 3 - 4 mmHg especially suitable to help prevent Deep Vein Thrombosis if you are already medically suffering from either a Diabetic condition or have surface varicose veins which may become swollen or cause itching when using a conventional compressive DVT travel sock.
Anybody suffering with these sorts of medical conditions is recommended not to use conventional high pressure compression DVT socks on thin diabetic skin or swollen and bad varicose veins.
